Valerie Lynn Brett

Valerie Lynn Brett is a screen, stage, and audiobook voice actor. She wrote and starred in her solo show Mr. Babcock about Civil War spy, Elizabeth Van Lew, which premiered at Hollywood Fringe as part of Uncivil Wars.

Some favorite past stage roles include: Cal/Cal in Camo (regional premiere, DENIZEN Theatre); Goneril/King Lear (Harold Clurman Lab Theatre Co.); Julia/Lend Me A Soprano (Shadowland Stages); Macbeth/Macbeth (Stella Adler/Art of Acting); Mrs. Daldry/In the Next Room (FSU Late Night Series).

TV credits include: Zoo (CBS); American Horror Story (FX). She performed with past sketch comedy group, Virginia’s Harem, at SF Sketchfest, and is a current proud member of Hudson Valley based comedy improv group, Bombshell. Valerie was a playwright on Great River Shakespeare Festival’s Community Engaged Project, All the Town’s A Stage: A Winona Story. You can hear her voicing the narrator and main character, Charolette, in the newly released novella, The Name Hennessy.
