Harmon Leon is an award-winning journalist, filmmaker, comedian, and the author of eight books. He’s also the producer of TALE: NYC's Finest Storytelling. His stories have appeared in BBC, VICE, Observer, The Nation, Esquire, National Geographic, Salon, and Wired.
Harmon’s produced episodes for some of the top podcasts in the world, including 99 Percent Invisible, Snap Judgement, Paperless, and This American Life.
Harmon’s documentary films have appeared at The Sundance Film Festival, DOC NYC, Tribeca Film Festival – as well as on Vanity Fair, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker.
He’s performed comedy shows around the world including: The Kennedy Center, Just for Laughs in Montreal, The Edinburgh Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival, UCB, and SF Sketchfest.
