Hamdan Azhar
Hamdan Azhar is a storyteller and data scientist from New York City. He has performed at The Moth and is the founder and host of the Muslim Writers Collective, fostering a space for diverse voices to share their stories.
A prolific writer and public speaker, Hamdan’s writings on technology and culture have been featured in WIRED, VICE, Forbes, The Washington Post, and The Christian Science Monitor. He is also a co-inventor on Facebook’s granted patent for emoji machine learning.
Hamdan is also passionate about mountains and the outdoors and recently returned from a trek to Mount Everest Base Camp.
